Artist in Residence

The earth and it's life is art and the artist a witness to its miracles.

In 2017 we offered the opportunity for one of our students to become an Artist in Residence. We gave preference to students who demonstrated that the residency aligned with their interest in professional development. Evidence of forward planning was valued.

By allocating our studio space we aspired to provide a working environment, away from the restrictions and pressure of everyday live, so that art practice and new ideas could  be explored.  The length of residence varied.

This program was by invitation only.

Unfortunately we had to end this program due to moving a new studio, which does not provide the space anymore.

Elena had been with us for years and has become an art teacher since.

She is loved by everyone due to her caring and energetic personality. As an artist she is passionate to say the least and has not spared time nor resources to pursue her interest in both painting and photography. We wish her all the best for her artistic future.
