Arts Training and Information since 1999
I have provided art classes and workshops since 1999 and had the immense joy of teaching well over 5000 students.
To start well, it is essential to draw and paint with a solid fundamental base of realistic drawing and painting skills. Classes are structured so that total beginners feel comfortable and are presented with easy to understand lessons packed with valuable information. Students can progress to a professional level of skills or just enjoy an amazing creative and fulfilling hobby.
Over the years I delighted in writing a number of articles on topics such as drawing, painting and art business to help my students to further improve.
At present I offer only one morning class for all media, and the occasional workshop. If you find my weekly class fully booked, you can reach out to me if you desire to get on the waiting list. Once enrolled as a student, your period of study is open-ended for you to stay as long as you wish. I instruct in 5 week blocks on Tuesdays from 10 am until 12:30 pm, followed by a two-week break between terms.
We will be on holiday from the 5th of April to the 30th of April 2024. You won't be able to contact us in that time.

Very informal approach and this made it comfortable to ask any questions. Also liked that it was a small group. Martina, you really know your stuff!! It’s obvious a great deal of research has gone into this course and it’s evident that the info is continually being updated.

I found this to be a very informative class explained in such a way as to understand everything more easily. Very pleasant surrounds, friendly teacher and a like students. I would recommend this class to everyone who wants to draw.
