General Drawing Studies Sketching is almost everything. It is the painter's identity, his style, his conviction, and colour is just a gift to the drawing.
There is a secret that artists don't want to tell you. We bask in comments like "You're so talented!" and "I wish I could draw like that" as if it is a God-given ability for only a few selected and completely hopeless for others. The truth is that there aren't people who can simply do it and those who can't. The reality is that there are those motivated to work consistently and intentionally, and everyone else who isn't or doesn't know that's what it takes.
With the following articles and visual examples for drawing studies, I wish to help you to discover how you can start to draw and then not only maintain some regularity, but improve your enthusiasm and overall drawing skills.
This section is mostly dedicated to general realist drawing studies for my students, but some of the articles are free for all.
